Background

The National Stock Exchange of India Limited established in 1992 is the first demutualized electronic exchange in India. NSE was the first exchange in the country to provide a modern, fully automated screen-based electronic trading system which offered easy trading facility to the investors spread across the country. NSE offers trading in equity, equity derivatives, debt, currency derivatives and commodity derivatives segments.

2.) As of 2023, National Stock Exchange is the Largest Exchange in the world in terms of currency, futures and options contracts traded.

3.) Company Declared a final dividend of Rs. 80/- per equity share, for the financial year ended March 31, 2023.
