Auckland International Limited was founded on September 30, 1977, in Kolkata, West Bengal, and began manufacturing jute goods on July 1, 1980, after merging with The Auckland Jute Company Limited. The Auckland Jute Mills production unit is located near Jagatdal, about 35 kilometers from Kolkata, on the banks of the Hooghly River. The Company is manufacturing quality Hessian, Odorless Tea Bag Cloth, Double Warp Tarpaulin Cloth, Canvas Cloth and Sacking a Twill Bags for Sugar packing & B Twill for other food grain packing's.
Company Highlights:
1. In FY 2023, company recorded total income of Rs. 226.85 crore, whereas the profit after tax stood at Rs. 3.03 crore.
2. The total production of jute goods increased by 18.27% to 19,927 MT in FY2023 from the previous financial year 2022.
3. In order to increase output, new Shuttle-less Looms and Winding machines were installed during the financial year 2023.
