Background:
MHFSL came into being in the year 1986 as a Public Limited Company. The main business of the Company is to extend Housing Loans for the construction or purchase of residential houses. In addition the Company also extends loans on the security of other properties, jewels etc. for the purposes other than housing. The Company also accepts deposits from public.
Company Highlights:
1. During the year, the Company commenced housing loan business at Mysore branch, where jewel loan business alone was being done earlier.
2. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) stood at 38.04% in FY 2024 compared to 34.54% in the previous year.
3. Total Income and PAT increased by 2.20% and 6.75% in FY 2024 as compared to FY 2023.
4. EPS stood at Rs. 13.47/- per share in FY 2024.
5. Directors have declared a dividend of Rs. 0.65/- per share for the year ended March 31, 2024.
6. Total loan sanctions during the year ended 31st March, 2024 amounted to Rs. 288.42 Crores.
