hospitality chain, having been founded in 2013. With a large network of
franchised and leased hotels, homes, and other living spaces, it is also the
fastest expanding hospitality firm. In India, OYO has properties in over 230
cities, including all major urban centers as well as popular tourist
destinations, pilgrimage sites, and leisure destinations. While the company's
primary focus is on India, it has also expanded globally.
In June 2021, Oyo Rooms
collaborated with
Yatra, Airbnb, and EaseMyTrip to form the Confederation
of Hospitality, Technology and Tourism Industry
(CHATT), an industry body for the tourism sector
of India.
