Company Highlights FY22:
a) The company owns 7 estates and 8 factories spread across Assam and Tamil Nadu.
b) The Company currently sells about 12.56 million kilograms of Tea.
c) The Company invested in 71,861 equity shares of Murugappa Water Technology and Solutions Private Limited (MWTS) during the year, which represents 38.48 percent of MWTS's share capital and makes MWTS an associate of the Company.
d) During the year 2021, the National tea production was at 1,329 million kilograms as against 1,257 million kilograms in 2020, an increase of 72 million kgs (increase by 6%).
e) It is a debt free company.
