Background
BgSE Properties and Securities Limited (formerly known as
Bangalore Stock Exchange Limited) was incorporated under the Companies Act,
1956 in May 1957 as a Limited Company. The Company commenced business as an
Exchange on 28th May 1963. It soon became one of the premier Stock exchanges of
India and largest in the Southern India. The Company received permission to
"Exit" as a Stock Exchange from SEBI vide Exit order no: WTM/RKA/MRD/165/2014
dated December 26, 2014. Consequently, the Company discontinued the stock
exchange business. Presently the principal business of the company is leasing
of immovable property.
